World Premiere of Bandoneon Concerto, Cavtat – Croatia by During the second `Epidaurus Festival` in beautiful Cavtat, accordion virtuoso Miran Vaupotic premiered with known Zagreb soloists the ‘Epidaurus Concerto’ for bandonen and string orchestra, by Croatian composer Damir Buzleta. This is the first bandoneon concerto in the history of Croatian music. The performance was a great success, with inspired playing from both soloist and ensemble. The concerto consists of three movements.
